Trustpilot ★★★★★Everything we need and more
The platform does everything we need and more. The scheduling feature enabled our tiny business to move beyond a shared Google sheet for employee schedules. The chat feature allowed us to separate our work chat from personal messages. Clocking in and out just works easily, something not many time systems (surprisingly) manage to execute. Editing time sheets is straightforward and the system documents time sheet changes clearly, another thing that is not done well in many other systems. We use this primarily for our summer staffing and after a short pilot our employees 100% voted to use Connecteam instead of what we were doing before. Building and editing schedules is very important to our success in our busier seasons and the cross platform flexibility to do this on the fly whether using PC, phone or tablet has been well, great. The platform has many more features than we currently use but it's nice to be able to grow into features or choose to not use them and have that choice be painless. We are very satisfied.

★★★★★Easy to use and AMAZING for team communication
Our overall experience with Connecteam has been really positive. It has made it much easier to keep our team organised, communicate quickly, and manage day-to-day tasks in one place. The quick task feature is especially helpful for assigning jobs and following things up, and the chat button makes it simple to contact staff without relying on separate text messages or phone calls. It is easy to use, practical, and has helped streamline how we manage our team. Pros: Connecteam has made managing our team so much easier and more organised. I really like the quick task feature because it allows me to assign jobs, follow up on things, and keep track of what still needs to be done without everything getting lost in messages. The chat button is also one of my favourite features because it makes communication with staff quick and simple. It keeps everything in one place, instead of having to rely on phone calls, texts, and different apps. Overall, it is easy to use, practical, and has helped our business run more smoothly. Cons: There is not anything I dislike about Connecteam so far.
Like any new system, it can take a little bit of time to get everything set up properly and get the team used to using it consistently. Once it is set up and everyone understands how to use it, it becomes a really helpful tool for day to day business management.

Capterra ★★★★★Arriving in the 21st century
Was quick to put in place. Sales team and support team is great and always available to assist when needed. I've recommend the products to a bunch of my fellow directors of other businesses. Worth every penny spent! Pros: Ease of use for our managing staff and payroll team. We saved a lot of time at every level where we need to follow worked hours. Dummy proof system for our technicians and easy to spot over, over-time and address issues with breaks. Cons: I think that Time Off module should be part of the Time Clock and be included within the basic licence

★★★★★Excellent Timekeeping/HR tool
Our previous time tracker was not California compliant, so that was our main issue. It was solved and then we had all the bonus assets What they like: We needed to have a timeclock for multiple employees who work at multiple locations, and we are in California, so there was a compliance piece as well. Connecteam hit all the buttons for us, and then also had added bonuses of time off tracking, forms, surveys...tons of extra HR products that just set it above the software we were currently using. Customer support has been great and the onboarding was easy. Our employees were used to the system same day. What they dislike: Honestly at this point, I haven't found anything.

★★★★★Connecteam Revolutionized Our Operations and Boosted Professionalism
Before using Connecteam, we managed almost everything through Google Sheets. While this worked at a very basic level, it quickly became clunky, time-consuming, and difficult to scale. Scheduling, tracking hours, and managing payroll were all manual processes, which left a lot of room for errors and inconsistencies. Over time, this also led to trust issues, particularly when pay disputes arose between us and employees due to unclear or inaccurate records.
Connecteam has completely centralised and professionalised these processes. Scheduling is now clear and transparent, time tracking is accurate and verifiable, and payroll is based on real data rather than estimates or invoices. This has removed ambiguity, reduced disputes, and rebuilt trust on both sides. Employees can clearly see their shifts and logged hours, and we have full confidence that payroll is accurate and fair.
Overall, Connecteam has replaced a fragmented, trust-based system with a structured, data-driven one. The result has been better efficiency, improved accountability, fewer disputes, and a much stronger working relationship between management and staff. What they like: Connecteam has been a game changer for our business. It has massively improved how we schedule our workers and completely streamlined our payroll process. The time clock feature alone has saved us a significant amount of money; we can now accurately track representatives’ exact hours and ensure shifts are worked in full. This solved a major issue we previously faced when staff were simply invoicing us for their time, which often led to early departures going unnoticed.
A large portion of our workforce is made up of students, and historically this role was quite informal, something they could pick up easily to earn a bit of extra cash. Since implementing Connecteam, however, the entire operation feels far more professional. The structure, visibility, and communication tools have helped our workers feel like they are part of a serious, well-run company rather than just a casual side job. This has had a really positive impact on engagement and accountability.
On top of the product itself, the Connecteam staff have been outstanding. Their support team, along with the AI assistant, made the transition incredibly smooth and stress-free. The onboarding process was clear, efficient, and well supported every step of the way. Overall, Connecteam has delivered real operational and financial benefits, and we couldn’t be happier with the platform. What they dislike: In terms of areas for improvement, we haven’t quite managed to get our reps fully engaged with the in-app group chats yet. They tend to be more responsive on WhatsApp, so we haven’t made as much use of the chat feature as we originally expected. It may simply be a change-management issue on our side rather than a limitation of the platform itself.
Another small improvement would be around payroll setup. It would be extremely helpful if workers could enter their bank details during the sign-up process and have these details automatically appear on the exported payroll PDF. Currently, adding bank details to payroll each month takes a bit of extra manual time.

App Store ★★★★★Tracking Time by Jobs/Clients
I do accounting for small businesses and have to keep track of my time by client to bill them at the end of the month. I had a method of tracking my time using excel spreadsheets, but it still took me a long time to make sure I hadn’t overlooked any tasks I did before billing all of my clients. Using this app to track my time has freed up about 8 hours of my personal time each month…time I don’t have to spend figuring out my billing time is time I can now spend doing things I enjoy with friends and family. It took a little time to get it set up and learn how to use it, but now I recommend it to anyone who needs to track their time.

★★★★★Best customer service ever
I have NEVER been more impressed with the customer service of any software I’ve used. 24/7 I can chat with a real person, they are all very knowledgeable and helpful. And their AI/chat bot is very advanced. Both always sending me links and snapshots to help answer any questions.
We have a construction company and love this app for time clock, chats/communication, updates, site update photos and more.

We had previously been using a few different software solutions to patch together what we needed. G2 ★★★★★A Game-Changer for Small Businesses: Free, Easy Scheduling and Job Pay Tracking
It allows my employees to clock in and out while on the go. I can also see whether my employees have confirmed their shifts, so there are no more “I didn’t know I was scheduled” excuses. What they like: That it caters to small businesses. If you have under 10 personnel, you are able to use all services for free. This program was a game changer when we started. Our company and employees loved using this program. One of the easiest things is that you can manage schedules, and not only that, but you can also get a sense of how much you will need to pay your employee for each job they do. What they dislike: I disliked how expensive it became once we needed more than 10 employees. There wasn’t a way to pay for only what we needed to stay efficient, so now that we’ve gone above 10 employees, I have to find other avenues to offset what we used before. The monthly cost for a small company like ours isn’t feasible, and I’m really disappointed with how they chose to scale up.

★★★★★Connecteam is a win for our small office!
We love the app and would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a time tracking systems for their office. Pros: The app is free for small businesses! Such an amazing service for small a small office! We love the ease of use and that we can use our phones to clock in and out. Cons: The way it handles overtime is not how we handle overtime. We allow more than 8 hours a day and only count it as overtime if the hours exceed 40 in the week. It took some time to figure out how to adjust this.

★★★★★Simply the BEST
I did extensive research—again and again—and kept running into the same issues: either the apps didn’t meet my needs, or the ones that came close were charging outrageous prices for a small company of just two people. That’s where Connecteam stands out. This app is truly incredible. It’s powerful, thoughtfully designed for small businesses, and best of all, it’s free.
The features are not only comprehensive but also intuitive and accurate. As someone who consults and needs to submit weekly invoices, I used to dread tracking time manually in spreadsheets. Thanks to Connecteam, that’s a thing of the past. It gives me everything I was looking for—and more.
Thank you, Connecteam. You truly ROCK!

G2 ★★★★★Intuitive Scheduling, Unbeatable Support
Connecteam saves me a lot of time with scheduling by showing everyone's availability in one space. It's user-friendly and offers 24/7 support, giving me peace of mind as a solo supervisor managing many students. What they like: I find Connecteam incredibly intuitive for scheduling, saving me a ton of time by easily showing everyone's availability and unavailability in one place. It's so user-friendly, and I really value the 24/7 support that gives me peace of mind knowing help is available for my team whenever needed. The onboarding team was super personable, especially James and Zak. I also have to mention how great the overall experience is with its easy-to-understand interface and unbeatable mobile readiness. Plus, the initial setup was seamless, and I've not heard any complaints from my team. What they dislike: This is more of a financial/processing improvement, but our university uses Workday as its HR/Finance hub for all things compensation, timekeeping, payroll, etc. so we'd love to see some integration with that platform down the line, similarly to how Connecteam connects with other payroll/HR platforms.

★★★★★I love Connecteam!
My overall experience has been great! I really appreciated the complimentary onboarding call to help me with my goals and help me get things set up in a way that worked for my business. Pros: I love how easy it is to use and how streamlined it makes operations. My employees love it because it makes time off requests simple and kept in one place. It also helps with accountability tracking. Cons: I do think some of the features overlap and aren't needed, or maybe I am just not entirely sure how to actually implement them. Customer support is phenomenal though, so I am not worried about having help when I do get time to play around with these things.

★★★★★Effortlessly Streamlined Scheduling for Event Planning
I find Connecteam makes scheduling a breeze, replacing my spreadsheet, and shows who can work. It makes it seamless for my team to know their shifts. What they like: I use Connecteam to schedule my team for my event planning business, and it makes it much easier for me to see who can work. It's seamless for my team to know when they are scheduled. I love the ability to keep shifts open for my team to bid on. With my event planning business, I can put the events in, indicate how many assistants I need, and it allows my team to look at the date and location of the event and bid on it if they're interested in working. The initial setup of Connecteam was very easy. What they dislike: There have been a couple of things that I couldn't easily find (and still haven't), but it doesn't outweigh the positives. Some team members aren't qualified to bid on some shifts, but I can't figure out how to filter that.

★★★★★Revolutionized Our Scheduling Process
I use Connecteam for scheduling dispatchers, tracking hours to ensure correct pay, handling day-off requests, and managing shift swaps. It prevents over-scheduling and helps employees plan around work. I love setting repeat options for year-long scheduling. What they like: I love that I can set a repeat option on the scheduling side, which helps make the schedule for the whole year. This feature is great because it allows employees to schedule things around their workdays. The time-off request feature is also helpful for viewing when employees need to be off and to find their replacements easily. I don't have any issues with the Connecteam app; I like all the features and haven't faced any problems so far. The initial setup was very easy and user-friendly, with tools and videos provided to explain each task and different ways to use the app. Now each employee can have their schedule in their hands at all times through the app provided, which has been very helpful for us. What they dislike: There is nothing that I dislike about this app.

★★★★★Outstanding Support That Makes a Difference
Glitch in an area of tasks , they solved this within a day or 2 and also offered discount for the month to compensate the loss of use on the task caused by the glitch . They were very good and helpful What they like: The support and customer service provided when needed are excellent. Like with any new app, it takes some time to get used to, the scheduling feature is brilliant. Our staff really enjoy using the app and chats, and it helps keep everyone organized in one place, so we no longer have to rely on texts, WhatsApp, or emails scattered everywhere. We plan to use the voucher section to offer rewards and incentives to our staff in 2026. Since our business is new and busy, we still have a lot to learn, and I think it will take a few months to fully understand everything the system can do, as it offers so many features. What they dislike: Little more pricier than other companies

I have a team that works without direct supervision in remote locations. I like that I can provide training materials and updates to specific subsets of employees. ★★★★★BAM Peoria review
Very good overall and a large improvement from the platform we switched from. Mostly reliable but occasionally get errors. A refresh is usually enough to move forward though. Pros: Easy to use with lots of powerful features. Lots of engagement features to keep the entire team involved and on top of updates/announcements. Cons: Learning curve for some features and the 3 category pricing gets expensive for companies larger than 10 users.

G2 Rated 4.5/5Efficient Scheduling with a Price Tag
Connecteam boosts efficiency and saves time with scheduling. What they like: I really like the 'news feed' feature in Connecteam, which stands out for me. I also appreciate the format of the schedule because it really helps in maintaining efficiency and saving time. Additionally, having an onboarding specialist who met with us and took us through a new step each week made the initial setup smooth and supportive. ★★★★★Edit to original post: After being reached out to by the connecteam support staff and submitting further details I am thoroughly impressed at their devotion to their app and correcting any flaws. It is rare to see devs putting this much into anything these days and I humbly adjust my previous rating. Sends multiple notifications when sent a single shift. Likely due to switching phones and logging in, which suggests that it's a back end problem on the connecteam side.

★★★★★Great & User-Friendly Product, but You May Have to Pay Extra for Live Training and Assistance
Positive. I will probably eventually try to schedule time with a specialist to help me with more of the additional features because, again, there are many many custom features and tools that I have yet to setup or take advantage of. But since I know it will come with a cost, I will try to wait a bit longer and have a very specific list of the features or tools that I want to know more about. Pros: I like the product overall. It has many options to customize the way you keep track of time, tasks, and helps with having internal communication within the platform's chat feature.
Keeping time is simpler, doing payroll is less tedious, and our organization hasn't even scratched the surface of using ConnectTeam's HR features.
I like how easy it is for user's to suggest their own edits when they've made a mistake clocking in or out, and the admin can easily approve or deny.
The Ai help feature does a pretty good job pulling up articles to "how to's" when I need them, and it is faster than waiting on a call for a live agent to respond. Cons: My only issue, is that it is a deep program with many capabilities, and although it is very user friendly, they do not provide much guidance or live assistance when you purchase this product. You'll have one initial free meeting and then if you want help from a live ConnectTeam specialist, you have to pay for more sessions.
My second least favorite thing is the 'schedule feature'. If you're in an organization like restaurant or retail, with many team members having changing schedules, shifts, and needing to trade shifts or get them covered, then this feature would be ideal for you. For a remote team of workers on a more typical 9-5 schedule, it is actually difficult to set up those repetitive regular shifts for all of your team members.

★★★★★The pros and cons of working with Connecteam
My overall experience with Connecteam was positive. The platform provides a wide range of useful tools for managing employees, communication, scheduling, time tracking, and daily tasks in one place. I found the interface generally easy to navigate, and the mobile functionality made it convenient for employees to stay connected while working away from a computer. There was a learning curve because of the number of available features, but once everything was set up, it helped streamline several routine processes. Overall, Connecteam was a practical and flexible solution that improved organization and communication while reducing the need to use multiple separate systems. Pros: What I liked most about Connecteam was how easy it made managing a distributed or deskless workforce. The platform brings communication, scheduling, task management, time tracking, and employee information together in one place, which reduces the need to switch between multiple systems. I especially liked the intuitive interface and mobile accessibility, since employees can access important information and complete tasks directly from their phones. The scheduling and time-tracking features were also helpful for keeping everyone organized and making it easier for managers to monitor work hours and assignments. Overall, Connecteam felt like a practical, centralized solution for improving employee communication, organization, and day-to-day operations. Cons: What I liked least about Connecteam was that the platform can feel somewhat overwhelming because it includes so many features and settings. It can take time for new users and administrators to learn where everything is and configure the system to fit their specific needs. Some features also require additional customization or setup before they work exactly as expected. The number of notifications and updates can occasionally feel excessive, especially for employees who only need access to a limited set of functions. Overall, while Connecteam offers a lot of functionality, the learning curve and amount of customization can make it feel more complicated than necessary for smaller teams or simpler workflows.
All-in-oneMobile appEase of use
★★★★★Helpful communication tool with flaws
Overall a very helpful tool, with some minor issues. Also, they are a bit intense. Constant checkups, which are probably well meant but if there is an issue, trust me I will let you know. Could be a culture thing, as a Dutch person I quickly find things to be over the top. Pros: It's easy to use, doesn't take a lot of time to learn. It makes it easy to track who has seen your updates which is nice. There are a lot of options, and it's fairly customizable, but not to the extend where it's overwhelming. Support is always very quick to respond if you have any questions and they always do their best. Cons: Some technical issues, and how it sometimes feels like many features are still missing. Support is super friendly but maybe it bit much. They're not always the most helpful. A consistent problem is not being able to take photos in the app without it going back to the starting screen, so I have to exit the app, take a photo, then send it. Also, linking when sharing things does not work. For example, if I want to share a file, it shows up as an option for sharing, but when I select it, I just get sent to the starting screen again. We use this instead of Whatsapp, but I find it less convenient. The milestones are also super annoying, I wish we could just disable those.

RedditConnecteam - Too good to be true? (Small Business Plan)
So I've used connect for almost 2 years now as a smallish biz admin (20ish peeps give or take through the year). My takeaway has been net positive BUT we use it in specific ways: We use this app as a replacement for "Crew" (Square bought them out 2ish years ago then discontinued the app only to offer square for teams and raise the prices astronomicaly. Assholes.) I primarily use the app for scheduling (its way easier with the 2nd tiered paid version, saves me so much time if you have irregular shifts, but not needed!) We then also use it for: *group messages (don't have to share phone #!) *Update/email blasts, *HR style forms, *surveys, *reminders/ daily checkoff tasks, *events that enable rsvps, *quizes/training tools for new hires/brush ups And honestly so much more? This baby can hold so much stuff. I can't speak on the time tracker, though. We use square married into quickbooks for ease of payroll since it was already set up years back and it was easier to keep it that way. But I know it allows for cross compatibility with reporting software like intuit, just haven't bothered to. Shopping around 2 years ago for scheduling based apps, it seemed like the cream of the crop. Plus, their customer service has always been top tier whenever I've had a problem. Not sure if they still do this but when I signed up, we got assigned a rep and they regularly checked in and helped us get set up and the most out of the interface, and all without really upselling? And when there is an issue, they are quick to fix any bugs and listen to feedback (which is nice tbh).

RedditSmall business employee here, also. We went from paper forms texted in weekly to using Connecteam to track hours, a year or so ago. It’s a phone app, which does have website functionality as well. We have a fleet of drivers, though, so usage is primarily in the field via app. I’m not currently involved in payroll, so I’m not sure how straightforward the integration is, but sounds like there’s at least the option to download files that can be used to upload hours into QuickBooks Desktop. (We’re using QB Online). You can set the Connecteam system up to enable requests for time off, and from what I remember of setting up new employees…there is option to set default settings for various available defined hours (OT, sick time, etc), and defined roles. One point of note, though, if you do opt to check it out—if you want to be considerate of employees’ phone batteries & bills, you’ll need to configure against continually tracking location data and checking in. That was one of the biggest hurdles during adoption—that setting must have been on by default, and it was absolutely killing employees’ batteries and cell phone data usage. Edit: grammar

Rated 3.5/5Great Mobile Tool for Field Teams, But Reporting Needs Improvement
The main problem Connecteam solves is the lack of communication and connection between our crews on the job and the office staff. What they like: the best part is how the app brings everything into one place and works perfectly on a mobile phone. At Winmar , technicians are always out at job sites, and Connecteam gives them one simple place to clock in, see their schedule, and fill out job forms. What they dislike: the Reports could be more advanced. It would be helpful to have better, more detailed ways to look at labor costs for each job, not just the basic timesheet reports.

What they dislike: It has been a constant pain to get it to talk to Quickbooks. If by chance you need 1 on 1 training to set things up its always next week for an appointment. ★★★★★Connecteam
Connecteam is an essential tool for my daily operations at Gigawatt.ai. It seamlessly bridges the gap between the office and the field by delivering complete visibility over team activities. Pros: The custom forms builder and GPS location tracking save us substantial time during on-site client audits. Cons: the desktop administrative interface could be simplified, as certain advanced settings are buried in sub-menus. we noticed minor lag when exporting large volumes of time-tracking data into our payroll software.

★★★★★Connecteam Good value
We have been using it for a couple of years and we have had few problems. The only time we needed assistance was when we change who the administrator was. Pros: No charge to use the software which is helpful. All of our hourly employees are currently using Connecteam. Cons: Connecteam does not convert the hours/minutes of a payroll to a decimal. So I manually have to make this calculation before submitting our payroll to our payroll service.

★★★★★Connecteam - Fantastic employee GPS tracking
Overall, we really like this software. Reports are good. Once we had it set up, our employees find it easy to use. Pros: The GPS tracker works well to know where our employees are and to be able to reroute them if necessary. Cons: The training needs to be more substantial. Need to give us more guidance on setup. Doesn't seem to export properly to ADP run.

★★★★★Extremely Attentive Representatives
Overall I think this application is very user friendly and as a lot of features we use. Some improvements would be helpful. The human team are very knowledgeable and polite. Pros: Customer service is prompt and they know their application. Having the ability to export necessary fields into our payroll program helps streamline our payroll process. Cons: I don't like the AI chat bot so I'll quickly as for a representative and that I like that I have to enter a code when I'm switching between companies.

★★★★★Streamlines Scheduling but Needs Mobile App Improvements
Connecteam streamlines scheduling by preventing the need to text message everyone. I can post shifts, and my contractors can select them, which triples my sales in one year. I can also see if an artist double booked themselves. What they like: I like how Connecteam streamlines my business. When I get a job, I simply post the shift, and my artists can claim it without me needing to text message everyone. I find it easy-to-understand and appreciate that both I and my artists can use it through the mobile app. What they dislike: The mobile app is pretty glitchy and doesn't have all the same features as the web browser. For instance, I can't duplicate a shift on the mobile app, so setting up a shift is best to do on the web browser, which isn't necessarily convenient. There was a lot of learning curve and confusion around the icons and symbols used. It's very difficult to see if a shift was actually claimed or not, and if it was published. The initial setup was extremely challenging.

★★★★★Connecteam is a practical and intuitive platform for managing team communication, particularly useful in fast-paced clinical environments. Two improvements would enhance usability further. A dark mode would reduce eye strain during extended use, especially in low-light settings. Additionally, the abilithe ability to print a full monthly roster view would be very helpful for quick reference and offline access. Overall, it is a reliable and well-designed tool with minor usability gaps.

Connecteam elimates the need for multiple platforms and apps. What they like: There are so many features to assist with HR and team management. Connecteam is an employee communication software. The product allows real-time messaging and ensures employees are kept connected in real-time. Unlike its competitors, the software is easy to use, especially when running payroll reports. The product is customizable and its customer care services are reliable, they provide timely responses. Pricing of the software is affordable as it does not require extra licensing or additional cost of implementation.

I like it. Actually… it is feature rich. I am not even using all of the features. Just out of pure laziness. They have come a long way since their startup. They continue to develop. My only complaint is it not really being an American-based platform and customer service is pretty good and “somewhat” responsive…. They are not really in the state unless your company doesn’t mind you calling TelaViv. We actually broke molds and used some features that were not “built” for what we are using for but now they have made them more form fitted to us. Which is nice. Ask any questions you like.

Trustpilot ★★★★★Good potential, but difficult to evaluate without support
I run a small business with fewer than 10 employees, and Connecteam looks like it could be a very useful system. The problem is that it’s not very easy to figure out on your own.
The interface is somewhat understandable, but I’ve honestly had to use ChatGPT to walk me through a lot of the setup and explain where things are. What has been most frustrating is trying to get help directly from Connecteam. It seems that meaningful support or onboarding really isn’t available unless you purchase a subscription.
That puts a small business like mine in a difficult position. I’m not opposed to paying for software that works well for us, but I need some help setting it up and understanding what it can do before I can decide whether it’s worth paying for.
I think Connecteam has a lot of potential, but they would be much better served by offering real onboarding or support during the trial period. Help me see that the system will work for my business, and then I’m much more likely to become a paying customer.

★★★★★Awesome system until it began having issues.
Overall it was great. I am very not pleased that I was forced to change due to the issues mentioned above. Pros: The system is very dynamic and pleasing. The flow is clear, clean and detailed. I prefer this time management system over all others. Cons: We used Connect team for years. However, lately we just switched to ADP time management due to over the past 3 weeks many of my user's reported issues with the system not resetting. Not allowing them to clock in due to this. Also issues with the system not allowing them to sign in.

★★★★★Great User Experience and Support, But Critical Integration Gaps Remain
Our experience with Connecteam has been mixed. The platform excels in usability, employee adoption, and customer support, which are all important strengths. However, those positives have been overshadowed by missing functionality, costly module-based pricing, and integration limitations that directly impacted our payroll process.
Connecteam has strong potential and does many things well, but businesses with complex payroll or QuickBooks integration requirements should carefully evaluate whether the current feature set meets their needs. We are still evaluating whether the platform is the right long-term solution for our organization and will be making that decision in the coming weeks. Pros: Connecteam has one of the best user interfaces we've used for workforce management. The mobile app is intuitive, employee adoption was relatively easy, and the platform is generally user-friendly for both administrators and employees. Their customer support team has been excellent whenever we've needed assistance, and even their AI chatbot is surprisingly helpful for finding answers quickly. The platform offers a broad range of functionality, and the overall experience feels modern compared to many competing products.

★★★★★Its great until you reach 11 users.
Overall, it's okay. I don't feel like the sales reps are very transparent with what modules are covered in each hub and informing customers they have to subscribe to the expert level in each hub to get the same services as the free plan and then also counting inactive users in that 10. If you add it all up; $99 x 3 Hubs = $297 X 12 months = $3564 is what it would cost per year once you get to 11 users. Which is outrageous for a small business. Pros: We like the wide range of modules offered. We use the entire suite offered in each Hub. The team chat is our most used module. Cons: I'm a small business of less than 10 employees but people leave, and new people enter that's just normal business. I don't like Connecteam limits the free version to 10 users (old + new) and the paid version with all the same features (we use everything offered) is out of the price range of a small business.

★★★★★The things that work are great
They are super slow to respond. Can only reach them through a chat. We have open tickets from over a year ago that they say they will try and edit features and still haven't. What they like: The scheduling is a nice feature. Although it is annoying that the shift recurring won't go indefinitely. So you have to pick how many times you want it to repeat and hope you catch when it expires before people are left with no shifts. What they dislike: They do not separate "holiday time and a half" from "Overtime time and a half". It is a pain with a company of over 200 employees to have to manually change this once hours are imported to payroll system every time we have a time and a half paid holiday.

★★★★★Great, but…
The app is simple to use, has lots of functionality, and was easily adopted by my team. Caution: I used the free version for 18 months because my employee headcount was below 10. I became very comfortable with the app and its functionality. I just paid almost $600 a year to upgrade because my team has grown. now I am finding that many of the features that I relied on when my team was small require additional subscription charges at different levels for multiple modules. this software is not a simple: use the platform for a small team for free, then upgrade incrementally as your team grows. Instead, you have to upgrade across multiple modules, each of which carries additional costs. It doesn’t feel good.

not great - the support team are good but the program really doesn't give them much to work with. I fould i needed to repeat myself a lot and the initial set up was left to us to do despite paying for the set up in the sign up Pros: Job costing is much easier now that we can book time to multiple jobs during the day. the interface is not toobad Cons: it can not handle RDO and TIME in lieu accrual and really doesn't help for payroll aspects in fact it is quite primitive when it comes to Xero payroll integration and out of the 10 times i've tranported info to xero only twice it actully worked

★★★★★Great features if you pay for every little thing.
Pros: I like all the things it allows me to use. I couldn’t ask for an easier schedule maker. I also love the utility of celebrations, as well as quick tasks Cons: Something I wish it had but more of I want then a full app need. I will say I do wish that a lot of the feature weren’t locked up behind paywalls, like selecting more then 5 shifts on the schedule. We have had to figure out errors and mishaps on our own. There is no tech support that is readily available to have a verbal conversation or to answer questions real time. This has cost us a lot of wasted time and money.

Trustpilot ★★★★★We chose Connecteam after being…
We chose Connecteam after being explicitly told during onboarding, and in writing by email, that NFC clock-ins would work even without internet connection. We explained clearly that we operate at festivals where signal is often poor, and NFC was recommended as the solution for controlling staff clock-ins and clock-outs.
Based on that, we set up our whole time-clock system around NFC and bought NFC tags, only to discover during our first festivals of the summer season that it does not actually work without connection as we had been told.
Connecteam did offer a subscription discount, but only after I had to chase for several days. Overall, very disappointing experience, especially as our decision to subscribe was based on incorrect information.
Good things are: chat with customer service is usually fine and quick replies, very welcoming and acomodating.

RedditConnecteam vs Homebase vs Breakroom: Which Employee Communication App Wins for Frontline Teams?
Connecteam has zero humans in customer service. They’re all bots. I know this because I tested it. We like their clock-in features, but that’s absolutely it. The reporting is a mess, the splitting of scheduling and time clocks, as well as splitting the jobs and shifts, makes it complicated for no reason. My team hates when they have to add a shift or a job because it should automatically ally be tied together. You can’t pull or view certain pieces of information or your jobs and shifts, there’s no ability to add mileage and have it add to the payroll totals, you can’t even edit a manager note before approving an employee’s timesheet edits. So, each time an employee makes an adjustment, I have to approve it first, before I can add a comment (which sometimes happens to be that something is incorrect), which is very confusing to our team. That’s just a few things that have been obnoxious. We’re actively looking for better options.

Rated 1.5/5Good Features Undermined by Aggressive Upselling and Pricing
It helps centralise operations, keeping staff communication, improves safety compliance, and provides document access in one place. What they like: The platform offers a wide range of features that are genuinely useful for managing a team — task assignments, communication tools, document storage, and more. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into the functionality, and on the surface, it ticks many boxes for businesses like ours. What they dislike: The constant upselling is exhausting. Many features are locked down unless you pay for additional upgrades, which makes the experience feel more like navigating a budget airline — everything is an extra. The pricing is steep, especially for small to medium-sized businesses. I also felt misled during the onboarding process; some functions I believed were included turned out to be part of higher-tier plans. On top of that, you're pushed into frequent Teams meetings that often feel more sales-oriented than supportive.

G2 Rated 2.5/5Lot's of useful tools, a la carte...
Reduces our tech stack. Keeps things simple What they like: It can consolidate a tech stack fairly well for communication, reports, updates, timeclocks, location tracking, onboarding, directories, etc. Simple onboarding and offboarding for high turnover fields. You can create 'Smart Groups' so when you add/remove someone it automatically adds/removes them from assigned chats/features/priveledges. What they dislike: Everything is a la carte. You want the cool features? Price is doubled. Chats are VERY slow to load, have to click on GIFs and videos to play them. One issue may be their servers or that all images/videos in a chat are at full resolution and not compressed. Consolidates messages with a "Click here to read more...". Chats are not suitable for a high paced environment such as sales where hype, speed, and momentum are necessary. We unfortunately have to look elsewhere to replace the Chat function.

★★★★★Upsell Crazy
We were so excited to find Connecteam and everything it could do, and for free! Then in order to do something that we needed, we had to upgrade one part…then pretty soon to continue to use it we needed to upgrade something else…then again. I feel like the business plan was to get you and your employees imbedded in using it, then they hit you with the actual costs. Classic bait and switch, I guess. Just ended up being sad and frustrating.
It’s a good product, it does a lot of great stuff, but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s free or cheap. They have switched things on us since we started, things that didn’t cost money to begin with now cost money…like $50-$100 per month.

G2 ★★★★★Frequent Outages, Poor Support, and Missing Reporting—Too Buggy to Keep
It is streamlining our PTO process in terms of employee self-input. However, the reporting isn't there. It also solved the issue of lines waiting for the few clocks, and now people can just clock in on their phones. It made it where people can check their available PTO while at home. However, it doesn't calculate time off accruals correctly, so you'll constantly have to be adjusting it. What they like: I like the chat feature and the update feature. It's nice to be able to connect to my employees who are not computer-based, but still need to stay connected. What they dislike: Lack of reporting is very disappointing. Why can't I get an attendance report? The slide out interface for time off. The menu interface where to access time off full picture, takes two different menus (user and time off). The repeated outages. And mostly, the horrendous support. We are leaving it after 1 year due to the lack of so much functionality and bugs.

It was unsatisfactory. We stopped using it after 10 days and went with a competitor that we pay for. Then the next thing we tried is 'Schedule' which is a great feature but unless you pay extra the employees can auto approve their own holiday which is ridiculous, this is a typical subscription trap, POST REPLY FROM CONNECTEAM - as stated 'Auto clock-out is designed to clock users out based on their time on the clock, their schedule, or when they leave a worksite.' this is true, what is also true is it doesn't clock everyone out at the end of a shift so it is showing people are still on site when in actual fact they have already left which looks like over-time & also from a H&S point of view you cannot rely on the data to accurately see if anyone is still on site or not, we will have to go back to a manual signing in book for accuracy. Very disappointed

★★★★★Key Feature Disabled
I moved my organization to Connecteam specifically because of the breadcrumbs feature. We utilize the maps for both employee tracking and coverage documentation for our contract work. We are required to show our team coverage across the entire shift and day of work. This feature was the key reason we transferred.
In the latest update, Connecteam attempted to streamline their breadcrumb feature and removed the overlapping employee map view. I understand the desire to de-clutter the map but I don’t understand the reason for eliminating the overlapping view for multiple employees completely.
When I contacted customer support and explained how important the multi employee view was to my business, they just responded that the feature was eliminated and they would not be reverting.
I cannot be alone in my use of the multi employee view. If this is a feature you use as well, I encourage you to voice your discontent as well.

For me once I clock in it seems start destroying my battery even when I fully close the app and turn off mobile data for it.

★★★★★Gathering location data when not needed
Connect teams recently changed their requirements to always allow the app to collect location data, and multiple times during on Sunday after not working the weekend, my phone has let me know that connect teams has checked my location up to 21 times over the weekend when I have not been working. There is no need to check my location when I’m not clocked in. And they do not allow you to clock in unless you have given them permission to use your location at all times

App Store ★★★★★Stop asking me to submit my time sheet on a sunday at 12pm.
Every single sunday this app is coded to tell you to submit your time sheet on Sunday. Whoever coded this must have the weekends off because some of us still have to work on a Sunday. No i cannot submit my timesheet while i’m still actively clocked in and working. It’s the most annoying thing on the planet. I know I have to submit my time sheet stop telling me!! It is 12pm, the day has started and so has my time at work. Whoever coded this needs to rethink their privilege of having the weekends off.

★★★★★We're currently waiting for a fix/resolution
We're currently waiting for a response from an escalation because our employees are clocking out for 30 minute unpaid breaks but the time tracking software is clocking them out for 31 minutes; 1 minute here and there adds up and we feel like we're shorting our employees (because we are due to this glitch.) It's disappointing that it's been several days now and there still is no ETA of a fix or resolution for the issue.

★★★★★Left hanging with no support
We found the software did not accomplish what we wanted it to do. I can not get a support team member to return my attempts to communicate. They took a full years payment with out our realizing it. $2,630.96 down the drain. Maybe it will work for some, but not us. Waste of time and money. Pros: They took their time with us in the beginning. The program was not sufficient for what we needed and how it was portrayed. Cons: We could never get this right. but they immediately charged us for a year's subscription. Now no one is responding to our attempts to communicate and to receive the balance of funds.

They will spam call you!
I wanted to test a quick functionality and when I found out it did not do what we needed, we immediately cancelled again. However now I get multiple calls from them over and over again, min. 2-3 calls per day! So be careful about signing up because they will keep spamming you with calls…

Then I suggest you check your internal procedures since I have been spammed through numerous calls, text messages and email from your staff!

★★★★★Another garbage business app that barely functions. Can someone explain why this app needs my location at all times instead of when the app is open? It seems every app making idiot wants to know where I am at all times, and it's completely unreasonable. Change it to only while the app is open, geniuses. Otherwise, I consider this a privacy violation. EDIT: "Your location is safe. Trust us, bro." Shove that BS response. Turn it off when I'm not working. It's that simple.

★★★★★It used to be fine but now it is sluggish and it takes ages for it to load, clock in and choose job number, and just clocking out! It's not limited to my device or a few devices. EVERYBODY on the crew and in the whole company has the same experience with this latest version. There is no limit to the suckage of this damn thing. I am on the latest version as of June 3, 2026.

★★★★★Not really a fan.
None, it has created more issues because it is difficult to use. What they like: The best feature it the app is super easy for staff to navigate What they dislike: As an admin, i find the whole site difficult to navigate. Reports are impossible and although customer service tries, they were unable to help. I need to use the reports for job costing and have just resorted to adding up time manually. I

★★★★★Time clock
I should be able to stay signed in and not logged out just because I have my settings set to only while using the app.
The time clock doesn’t need to track me all shift long and need to be set to Always.
This needs to be changed back like it was before the update.

App Store ★★★★★App unusable
If you are using this as an admin, it is unusable and will never load. As for a general user, be warned that your shift may not appear in the “upcoming shift” section.
Notifications for your shift start time are delayed and not on time.
My biggest issue is that it won’t load. If you click on the shift replacement or the pending requests, it will not load. You’re out of luck if you’re trying to process something for your employees in a timely manner

★★★★★Has on multiple occasions nearly made me late because of its lag. Will often need to be restarted because of it being incapable of recognizing my location, and due to its laggy nature has actually incorrectly clocked me out. If it wasn't for the fact its required for my job, I would have removed it for my sanity and job security

App Store ★★★★★Annoyingly Glitchy
Worst app ever. It frequently freezes or gets stuck loading. I often can’t clock in because it doesn’t recognize my location (even though I’ll be at my client’s house!). I’ll try to clock out so that I can go home, but have to waste time restarting the app because (again) it’s stuck loading. I despise this app.

★★★★★It's not the worst system I've used.
It's been ok. There have been some issues that I have asked to be resolved that have, but every time we ask for something it's always a zoom call. I just want my issue addressed. I don't have time to go through zoom for a five minute conversation. Pros: It provides a lot of options and a lot of functionality. Generally, I can find and accomplish what I need to, but I often find myself having to go to the desktop version instead. Cons: The UI is not user friendly at all, especially once you are granted some admin rights. Trying to find the specific function you need is often a series of five or six steps. Once you find it there are limited display options and every aspect of the dashboard feels cluttered. I often have issues when I try to navigate to a specific area of the app and it freezes, so I have to close it and then reopen it in order to navigate back.

App Store ★★★★★Gets stuck in loading
Either it’s stuck for three days loading the page, or the shift is completed and closed and the next day, it only brings up the previous day’s shift. Full of bugs. Constantly sending screen shots of it stuck to my office to let them at least have time stamps of when I left for the day, proving the program is glitching, yet again.
